Iglesia de Santa Gertrudis

Temple with unusually colorful facade and a large bell tower, built in the eighteenth century.

The church was inaugurated in 1797. The facade has been modified a number of times over the years, as in the case of the bell tower, which was installed in the nineteenth century.

The main square is now a wide pedestrian space, especially pleasant for summer nights. You will notice that there is a bronze sculpture, made by artist Pedro Hormigo, depicting the first Bishop in Ibiza, Manuel Abad y Lasierra (1724-1806).

How to arrive
From the capital, take the road to Santa Eulalia. About 3 kilometers later, take the left the road that goes to Santa Gertrudis and Sant Miquel. Follow for it to find the village on your left. The church is in the main square.
