Area Sant Jordi

Distance: 9 Km from Sant Josep

Not too far from Sa Caleta you will find Es Bol Nou, a little beach with fine sand and a family atmosphere too. Most of the people who visit it are from Ibiza or Sant Josep. A peculiarity of this beach is that there is not enough water depth to dive until you walk out for a little while. Don’t be surprised if you see people getting their body and hair covered in clayey mud at the end of the beach. This is an exfoliating and invigorating practice that eliminates even mosquito bites. Don’t feel inhibited. Give it a try. You need only to take water from the sea and empty it on the red clay to make mud, then you it over your body until it dries. The clay layer goes off easily. On this cove there is a chiringuito that serves nice food, a clothes stall and a massages area.
