Vicent Marí is the owner of Can Curreu, and a lover of good cooking. He could not conceive a luxury hotel without a first rate restaurant that would be open to anyone in the island. The experiment worked so well that he finally opened the restaurant to the public and at present it is considered one of the best establishments of the island. Moreover, the restaurant uses products grown in their garden, which adds great value to the dishes. The decoration is rustic yet elegant at the same time and it maintains the exquisite and tasteful line of interiors in the rest of the hotel. We highly recommend you to book a table by the large window. From there, you can see outside the millennial olive tree that has grown on a flat stone and that for this the roots have taken very curious shapes. The restaurant is next to the swimming pool of this idyllic rural tourism establishment in Sant Carles.

If you are hungry and feel like trying new flavours, an excellent choice is to order a tasting menu consisting of five dishes. Among the starters, grilled scallops with crunchy ham, the country eggs in ‘cocotte au Périgord’ with foie or the local fresh prawns. To follow, piglet from Segovia caramelised with cava or baked ‘San Pedro’ sole. The desserts are also very attractive and are prepared upon order. Among their proposals, try the white chocolate chilly soup with red berries and Amaretto or the French toast with meringue milk ice-cream.
