This is one of most well known traditional restaurants in the south of the island. Its quiet atmosphere, the good quality-cost relationship, the possibility of having a meal barefoot on the sand, and the daily captured fish they serve –lobsters, groupers, red mullets, ‘San Pedro’ sole, etc- all makes this restaurant an unavoidable temptation. Fresh fish is really one of the cornerstones of this restaurant, which opened in 1975. The friendliness and warmth in which every dish is elaborated and the quiet atmosphere of this little beach can turn a simple meal into a sublime delight. When the weather is good enough, book one of the tables situated in the open terrace and have a meal with bare feet, touching the sand. This may become one the best memories of your stay at the island.
Our recommendations
The chef’s speciality is baked fish, but also excellent are the Guisat de peix, Bullit de peix with rice on the side, assorted grilled shellfish or Zarzuela. Starters vary a lot, though the menu usually has stir-fried baby squid or cuttlefish, battered rock-fish, clams and local fresh prawns.
