David Piccione -a famous house music DJ and owner of the music label Azuli Records- fell in love with one of the most busy restaurants of the island, Sòl d’en Serrà. He bought it in 2009 and made the necessary alterations to turn it into an establishment integrated in its natural environment, where the rural spirit of the island coexist with a modern and ‘chic’ décor. The tables and chairs are made with rustic wood, as well as the counter where cocktails are served. The most glamorous piece of furniture is the wide design sofa that welcomes the guests, who can also enjoy a sunbath from the pleasant sun loungers on the beach, as if they were in a most exclusive club. This is a rocky and taste-of-the-sea spot of special beauty, where flowers and fresh fruit abound, and where the deep blue sea grants magic moments at any time of day.
Our recommendations
The star dish is the creamy rice with lobster, though the salmon tartar, the smoked black rice, the small cuttlefish on a bed of mango and the Galician T-bone steak are also outstanding. This is a paradise for the senses.
