Municipality Sant Josep de Sa Talaia
Area Es Cubells

Distance: 7 km from Sant Josep

Sa Caixota is one of the most remote beaches, where you can easily be by yourself. To get there, drive towards Es Cubells and follow the signs to the residential areas called Vista Alegre and Sa Caixota. There are steps down to the beach. On the sea shore there are only pebbles, so it is advisable to take comfortable waterproof shoes to walk on the rough path. However, there is sand underwater at about 5 metres from the shore. The view from Sa Caixota is really spectacular. There are no beach bars around.
