Distance: 12 km from Sant Joan and 6 km from Sant Miquel

A very small and isolated beach surrounded by hills and pinewoods. It is usually frequented only by the fishermen of the boat huts. It is a place recommended for walking enthusiasts seeking far-away places and crystalline waters. To find it, start from the residential area of Isla Blanca and take a track towards the Penyal de s’Aguila. From a bend in this track, a path goes off to Es Portitxol, with a long, steep descent to the sea.

How to arrive
DFrom Sant Miquel, you have to take the road to Sant Mateu. At the end of the road go to the urban area. Before entry to the urban area, take the street on the right. After an area with houses, you will find a fork. Take the street on the right and continue down another 350 meters until you see a stone wall on the left. Next to the wall you will see a small blue arrow indicating the path which leads to Es Portixol. The downhill walking takes 20 minutes and half an hour back.
